Cherish your loved ones, tell them you love them every opportunity you get. Be kind and loving to everyone you see- don’t let anyone ever go unnoticed; and do everything you can to make everyone feel important.

I’ve been struggling with a lot of petty grudges within my family- it has grown into volatile animosity, and the entire household has suffered. Guys- spread love, because one day you’ll realize just how short life is.

You know how when we were younger and we wanted so bad to grow up, but everyone told us to be careful what we wish for and that we should enjoy our youth? And as arrogant youth we kept on wanting to get older and refused to heed their warning. Then we got older and realized what everyone was telling us. Think about that as I sit here begging you to truly cherish your loved ones- whether they are 3 feet away or 3,000 miles away- do something to let them know that you do love them.

As messengers and disciples of Christ’s truth and love- we are sent out with a mission to comfort and rest the weary. The next time you’re looking for a good deed to accomplish, think, “What have I done to comfort and rest my weary brothers and sisters?”

I pray that we will be more sensitive to the spirit, that we will better understand the needs of those around us. I pray that we will go forth, with steadfastness in Christ and a healing touch in our voice that will comfort the afflicted, rest the weary, and heal the broken. In Christ’s name, amen.

I’ve learned that when the enemy attacks, God reacts. God doesn’t just sit back and think, “Well, I wonder what’s going to happen. I wonder what they’re going to do.” No, God goes to work. You are His most prized possession. It says in Psalms, “God is close to those that are hurting. God is close to the broken hearted.” God knows when you’ve gotten a bad medical report. He knows when you’re struggling in your finances. He knows when you’re being mistreated. You may not see anything happening, but you can be assured that Almighty God is not only aware, He is at work. He already has the solution. If you will stay in faith, at the right time, He will release a flood of His power, a flood of healing, a flood of restoration. He will not only bring you out, He will bring you out better off than you were before!
